Job Description

We seek a skilled and experienced Solutions Architect with a specialty in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and a good knowledge of Power Platform technologies. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage comprehensive solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and related technologies. This role involves working closely with customers, stakeholders, PMOs, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design and Implementation:
– Design and architect solutions for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
– Develop high-level project plans and technical specifications.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
– Develop comprehensive gap specifications and architecture documentation.
Technical Leadership:
– Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams.
– Ensure best practices in coding, design, and architecture are followed.
– Oversee the development and implementation of integrations with other systems.
Customization and Configuration:
– Customize and configure applications to meet business needs.
– Develop custom modules, reports, and workflows as required.
– Ensure configurations align with business processes and objectives.
– Conduct workshops and training sessions for customer team members.
Documentation and Training:
– Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions and integrations.
– Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams.
– Develop user guides, training materials, and technical manuals.
System Integration:
– Design and implement integration solutions with third-party systems.
– Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
– Manage and troubleshoot integration issues.
Implementation and Deployment:
– Oversee the end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions.
– Guide and support project teams during the design, development, and deployment phases.
– Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
– Support Project Cutover, Go-Live, Hypercare, and Post Go-Live activities.
– Good knowledge of ISV Solutions.
Data Migration Best Practices:
– Lead the data migration activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
– Support and guide customer and project team with data migration sequence and templates for smooth migration.
Performance Optimization:
– Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
– Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
– Ensure the system operates efficiently and meets performance benchmarks.
Security and Compliance:
– Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance with regulations.
– Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
– Ensure the system adheres to industry standards and organizational policies.
Project Management:
– Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources.
– Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
– Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks.
Continuous Improvement:
– Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 F&O.
– Propose and implement enhancements to improve system functionality.
– Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify improvement opportunities.
Stakeholder Communication:
– Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
– Communicate project status, issues, and solutions effectively.

– Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business goals.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Solution Architect Expert certification.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require travel to customer sites as needed.
